Adapticon B.V. is a spin-off company of the University of Amsterdam and Utrecht University. Adapticon has developed and applied advanced data analysis, processing, and forecasting technology since 2005.

The company founders have a combined experience of more than twenty years of academic research into these areas and have published numerous scientific articles. Research into machine learning, statistical analysis, and data mining has yielded considerable advances in forecasting technology. Building on recent advances, Adapticon has developed Dynamic Data Mining: proprietary, state of the art data analysis and forecasting technology that can significantly improve forecasting accuracy compared to currently available methods and commercial software packages. Adapticon continually improves and extends its technology to realize its mission: to deliver the best forecasting technology available on the market.

Adapticon is a winner of a prestigious national NWO/STW Valorisation Grant applied research award, which rewards successful transfer of technological innovations from academia into commercial applications. Adapticon's initial track record was established in the energy industry, and it is now expanding successfully to the navigation industry and other markets. Adapticon is located in the Science Park Amsterdam.
